Here is one interesting homebrew project from developer Jochen Schleu. This app allows you to use your PSP as an extra monitor for your PC! Kinda like the opposite of RemoteJoyLite. The space on the PSP will be 960x544. Settings are adjusted form your PC. This has been tested on both fat and slim PSP with CFW 4.01 m33-2. Here ist he bad news, PSPdisp is not compatible with Vista...yet(hopefully). Here is a video that explain what this program does.
Reasonably modern PC (Pentium 4 / Athlon64 or above) running a 32 Bit version of Windows XP. It may work under Windows 2000, but it is untested. 64 bit versions are not supported, as well as Windows Vista. I would like to provide a Vista version but it will probably never happen due to the changes in the display driver model regarding multi-monitor support.
Installation
Windows application, drivers, etc.
Download the installer below and execute it.
When it comes to the display driver installation, Windows will warn you that the driver is unsigned, let the setup program install it anyway.
After setup has finished, open your display settings and enable the new monitor then move it to the position you like.
Connect your PSP and copy the files from the "psp" folder in the installation directory to the memory stick.
Finally out of its beta stage, Lonpos is now at version 1.0. This game is from developer Xart. Lonpos is sort of like Tetris but much more complicated. For the instructions, they will be shown to you while you are playing. Due to many requests, Xart has finally removed the DRm from the homebrew game.
Have you ever been upset because you can never win a game of Blackjack? I know I did. Here is a new homebrew game from PSPKOR that will hopefully solve this problem. This game, as the author says, aims to help you beat the casino by helping the practice of card counting and basic strategy." In this game, you can always check if you did it right or not. After practicing for some time, hopefully you will be able to increase your chances of winning. Here's the reast of the instructions:
Quote:
There's also the three basic strategy tables that can be viewed, these show you how each hand should be played but with the knowledge of the card count, which is also kept on the game you play, you can determin your percentages of winning more.
Then there's the actual game this is just how it could be played in a casino, there's five decks, dealer stands on 17, you can hit, stand, double down and split, five card trick counts, you have a wallet and can change your bet. But as this is to practice you can check on the running count, the true count and the basic strategy tables. A good idea for practice is laid out in counting101.
Here is a new homebrew game from developerFlav1984. It's called Ball. This purpose of this game is to move around and get to the ball. But be sure to avoid the white thingies. There is also a time limit so no pressure! Three levels are presented in this game.
Changelog:
Quote:
A red outline around the person
A bonus level at the end of each difficulty
The white blocks (that move and you lose (and thank you to J3r3mie ac-portugal)
The black blocks that do you stop
You can now move with the analog joystick
The image file rules has been redone
Pata Pata Pata Pon! Remember that? Here are some more juicy news regarding Patapon 2. In this game, it will probably take you 10 hours to finish it. Pretty awesome. 60 levels, 384 items, 22 characters, 7 minigames, and an average playtime of 20 hours. In the first game, we only had 37 levels, 187 items, 11 characters, 5 minigames are what you will find in this awesome game. Now let's get on with the details.
Quote:
Over land, over sea...Patapon 2's story begins almost immediately where the first game left off. After the Zigaton threat was dealt with, the tribe built a ship to cross the sea. However, judging from the screens (screen on top, first row below), it looks like everything isn't smooth sailing for the pata-tribe. Putting all your eggs in a basket. A new feature in Patapon 2 is Egg collecting. These are 30 types of eggs that you can obtain through the single-player campaigns, with varrying levels of rarity. These can be used in the multiplayer mode... Using your eggs. In the multiplayer arena, there are two modes: Mission and Carnival (third-fourth row of pics below). Mission takes you and your buddies for some co-op play, and your goal is to move the egg to a specific spot. This in turn brings you to Carnival mode, where you get to jam to some pata-beats that show up on the screen. The cast gets bigger. New units introduced in this sequel come in different flavors: in the fifth row of pics, we see the Flier unit, the Mage, and the Robot. Another new unit in Patapon 2 is the hero - this little powerhouse can unleash a special attack (a la Limit Break) when you enter Hero Mode. See first pic, third row. From Zero to Hero. So what is Hero Mode, you ask? This is triggered right after Fever Mode (which is easier to enter this time around, btw). Heroes can also be customized with different armors, abilities, and jobs (demonstrated in last pic). New game plus!...ish. Don't go deleting your save file from Patapon 1 just yet! That same save file can be used in Patapon 2. Doing so allows you to carry over certain special items, medals, and gold.
I know there are enough OS based themes out there, but I think this one is atleast worth trying.
I started making a Windows XP theme, then I thought the default XP theme looked kinda boring so I made my own version. Most of the theme is based on the Windows XP, but I used a few things from XP Media Center Edition & a few things from Vista & this theme was the outcome.
Theme Includes Custom start menu icon Vista style icons custom gameboot XP bootlogo XP boot sound XP click sounds XP MCE option menu XP volume icon vista busy icon custom battery icon modified osk visual player custom music & photo player icons (from pereeski's myWindows v3.0 theme) custom "about" slideshow changed text restart function 4.05 visualizers CTF downoad site alternate wallpapers
XMB Sreenshot Screenshots
used 01-12.bmp from osnap's Carbon Ice theme used music & photo player from pereeski's myWindows v3.0 theme I got a few ideas from the Windows XP theme on 3.52
I only uploaded the CTF, if there is alot of request for the flash0 version I will upload it or just extract it using CTF Manager 2.0
